Mechanically actuated metering pumps
GM Series
GM Series pumps are mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pumps for dosing liquids. Easy to use and requiring minimal maintenance, they are built to high quality standards.
The pumped fluid is separated from the drive mechanism by a diaphragm that protects the pump components from the potentially harmful effects of the liquid. The design is safe, with no external moving parts and leak-proof operation.
Thanks to their simple construction and long-term reliability, GM metering pumps are used in every industrial sector, offering excellent performance and minimal maintenance.
Precision mechanical dosing for every industrial requirement
A wide range of fluids with different viscosities can be handled effectively by GM Series mechanical diaphragm metering pumps. Choosing the right metering pump depends on several key factors, which must be carefully considered to ensure the best precision and reliability in the specific operating context.
The parameters to be analysed are:
- The nature of the fluid to be pumped, its viscosity, and the solids it contains
- Pumping capacity in relation to the desired flow rate
- Suction and pressure conditions
- Compatibility of the wetted materials with the liquid and the process
GM range
The GM Series is available in three pump-head configurations (PP, PVDF, and stainless steel) to cover the entire range of flow rates and pressures required by the industrial dosing market.
The gearbox bodies for low and medium flow rates (up to 250 L/h) are made of TECH technopolymer; the gearbox bodies for high flow rates (up to 1000 L/h) are made of aluminium.

GM with PP pump head
The GM Series with reinforced PP pump head is the ideal solution for applications with acidic or neutral chemicals, water and wastewater treatment, fertigation, and the paper industry.

GM with PVDF pump head
The GM Series with PVDF pump head is designed for applications with neutral, acidic, or strongly acidic chemicals, and for water and wastewater treatment. It offers the highest chemical resistance among the technopolymer variants.

GM with stainless steel pump head
The GM Series with AISI 316L stainless steel pump head is designed for high-flow dosing applications where mechanical robustness and higher motor power are required. Ideal for the food and beverage industries and for alkaline or neutral chemicals. It is the reference choice for industrial plants, large-scale water treatment, and continuous processes.
QUALITY
Operation without valves or seals, reducing breakages and malfunctions even in heavy-duty applications and where high suction capacity and gentle handling are required, without altering the characteristics of the fluid.
SAFETY
Particularly suitable for sensitive, viscous, and dense products, including in explosive atmospheres thanks to Eex-d motor versions available on request.
PRECISION
High dosing accuracy and consistency for applications requiring accurate fluid control, with a tolerance of ±2% from 10% to 100% of the nominal flow rate.
Thanks to their simple construction and reduced maintenance times, GM metering pumps offer extremely low operating and maintenance costs.
How the diaphragm metering pump works
Diaphragm metering pumps are among the most reliable technologies for precise dosing of liquids in industrial applications. Discover how the GM Series is designed and which principles ensure consistent performance over time.
How does a GM metering pump work?
Mechanical diaphragm metering pumps are an essential, safe, and cost-effective pumping technology. This configuration enables precise and reliable pumping, making GM metering pumps ideal for industrial and process applications where the delivered dose must remain repeatable over time.
The drive unit of each pump consists of an electric motor coupled to a speed reducer in a junction box. The rotary motion of the motor is converted into reciprocating movement of the PTFE diaphragm, which draws the fluid through the suction valves and pushes it through the discharge valve.
Thanks to their configuration, these pumps can handle a wide range of fluids while ensuring precise and constant pumping. Dosing accuracy is also guaranteed by micrometric manual adjustment (1 mm/revolution), which can be operated both while running and when stopped, adjustable from 0 to 100%.
The pump operation allows fluids with high viscosity to circulate while maintaining a safe and reliable mechanical seal. An integrated onboard inverter with digital and analogue I/O and Modbus communication is available as an option.
The advantages of GM metering pumps
No mechanical seal
No mechanical seals are required thanks to the PTFE diaphragm that separates the fluid from the drive mechanism, eliminating wear points and drastically reducing maintenance times.
Resistance and durability
GM pumps are built to withstand aggressive and abrasive fluids, guaranteeing long service life and reliability thanks to innovative materials such as TECH technopolymer and stainless steel for high flow rates.
Leak-proof operation
The design, with no external moving parts and with in-line valves, guarantees fully leak-proof operation, ideal for applications with chemicals and in regulated environments.
Fluimac metering pumps, a guarantee of excellence
The construction method of GM metering pumps provides high machining quality and precision, ensuring safe operation without the need for extensive maintenance. The drive speed can be adjusted, as can the pumping capacity according to the viscosity of the fluid.
Quality
The quality of the materials used in the construction of the various GM pump models allows the pumps to operate for very long periods without requiring any intervention, even when dosing the most aggressive products.
Suitability
The GM positive displacement pump is perfect for safely handling and dosing viscous, sensitive, and dense fluids. Thanks to its clean design and FDA-compliant materials, it is also suitable for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
Maintenance
Fluimac metering pumps are characterised by simple and reduced maintenance over time. The only components subject to wear are the diaphragm and the suction and discharge valve assemblies, which can be easily replaced.Materials
