Horizontal centrifugal pumps with mechanical seals DRAGON
DRAGON horizontal plastic centrifugal pumps are high-performance pumps driven by a direct-drive electric motor, designed for the rapid transfer and emptying of fluids, with flow rates ranging from 6 to 80 m³/h. The unique semi-open impeller design allows for continuous operation even with dirty fluids with apparent viscosities up to 500 cP and containing small suspended solid particles.
DRAGON centrifugal pumps feature a robust pump body and a coupling adapter for connection to the electric motor and mechanical seal inspection. The semi-open impeller is keyed to the pump shaft, integral with the electric motor shaft, while the mechanical shaft seal is housed in the rear part of the impeller.

The DRAGON mechanical seal is designed with a 100% virgin PTFE bellows, specifically designed for applications requiring extremely high corrosion resistance. The entire design, like all the components of the mechanical seal, is designed to prevent the pump shaft from moving due to mechanical force. The seal assembly is mounted externally and is pressurized internally.
